A new look at urban city development. We are on the brink of transition, that is in the near future there will be a new approach in the field of soil remediation and urban redevelopment. There will be new rules which lead to more opportunities.

The general conclusion of the two expert meetings was that public and private has to join forces. The time that the authorities are in the lead, but also that tax money is used to pay for urban city redevelopment is over. Specialist with different backgrounds, such as economics, finance, juridical, urban planners, architects et cetera has to work together on a vision. Long term planning is needed to finance durable city centre redevelopment.
